Note-taking app ideas to harness its full potential

    The Notes app is a continually underutilized tool on the iPhone. It is a free product developed by Apple that comes on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Thanks to iCloud, you can easily work on notes on your Apple devices.

    Although intended for the iPhone, many of the following tips can be used in the Notes app for iPad and Mac.

    ( Trace: it's even bigger on the iPad)

    The Notes app is as secure as you want it to be

    Considered one of my favorite options in the app is the ability to block an alert with a password or Face ID. It must be organized in Settings before it can be used. Tap Settings, Notes and Password to create a password or enable “Use Face ID”. Be aware that if your system uses Contact ID, you will need to unlock it this way instead of Face ID.

    To block an alert, go to the three dots in the top right corner while inside the alert and click “Block”.

    Collaborate with others

    Share notes with others for easy input. Exercise View came with the update iOS 15 , which provides a summary of changes made since the last time you opened the notice. In addition, it presents a daily checklist of each employee's actions.

    Swipe right on the alert to reveal detailed details of the modifications. Additionally, it will present edit instances and dates and include color-coded names of other contributors. You can even point out other people with an “@” to tag them.

    If you want to share a notice but not give improvement input to others, simply send a duplicate.

    Scan documents with ease

    I don't want to use a clunky previous scanner. Simply tap the camera icon and click “ Scan paperwork ”. Place your document inside the body (one web page at a time) and Notes will take care of the rest.

    Within the digital camera icon, you can also take photos or videos to be automatically uploaded to the alert. Although you can't make major improvements, you can draw on your content or leave it on the screen. Additionally, any photos or movies taken in the Notes app will be saved in Photos. You can also add current photos or movies saved in the Photos app.

    Pro tip: on Mac, your iPhone or iPad will sync to take photos or scan documents for you. They will automatically appear on your Mac screen.

    Draw or write

    Notes will be an effective way to sketch or write something down. Although the iPhone does not support Apple Pencil, you must use your finger or a third-party stylus found here .

    Once you tap the pencil icon on the back, you will have six instruments: a pencil, highlighter, marker, eraser, lasso instrument, and ruler. These instruments offer customers the chance to create and construct beautiful notes within the free app. Many of the instrument options are self-explanatory. However, what you didn't know about the lasso instrument is that you can grab a piece to click and drag it to another place.

    Guys, an iPad too? Don't miss these top options

    • Apple Pencil delivers experience : You probably have an iPad with a second-technology Apple Pencil, double-tap the flat finish near the tip of the pencil to switch between pencil and eraser
    • There's a shortcut for everything : My favorite shortcut lets you double-tap the lock screen to take you directly to a new screen. You can configure this by going to Settings, Notes and tapping “Lock Screen Entry Notes”
    • Convert handwritten notes into textual content : The pen with the letter A is what you will use to transform your writing. Just write and it will be converted into textual content

    Format according to your heart's need

    Notes application clients can change the format of textual content to suit various types. You can add a title, heading, italics, bullet points, and more. While most note-taking is quick, it's a good option for customers who need more freedom within the app. There is even the option to create tables and task lists.

    Channel your inner Marie Kondo. You can possibly:

    • Fix important notes at the top of your feed so they're easy to find;
    • Create folders to avoid wasting notes below;
    • Generate tags by typing a # in the appropriate folder list. For example, if I type #applewatch, all my notes with that tag will appear when I search for #applewatch;
    • Search by keyphrase at the top of the app, typing or speaking to find a keyword or keyword;
    • Add a Calendar Occasion or Reminder typing a date. Tap “Done” and the date will appear highlighted. Hit the highlighted date to create an occasion

    Pro tip: If you have multiple email accounts in the Mail app, you can create and save notes under a particular account.

    If you feel fulfilled with a notice, the app allows you to simply print it or reserve it in the Info app. Heck, you can even pin it to Pinterest for anyone who wants it.

    Save time with the Notes app

    Quick notes are a quick technique for documenting a memo. This can be done on Mac using hot corners or dragging from the bottom right corner of the iPad . You can also edit quick notes from your Mac and iPad on your iPhone.

    For quick access to the app, you can also add notes to your iPhone's management center. Go to Settings, Management Center and tap the + sign next to “Notes”.

    Really don't feel like typing? Ask Siri to write down the alert for you, or use dictation. You can even scan textual content from another source.
